SOLD OUT
All 500,000 Minnesota Millionaire Raffle Tickets Sold
DECEMBER 23, 2009 — Minnesota Millionaire Raffle tickets sold out today at 2:55 p.m. — just 51 days after ticket sales began on Nov. 3. This is the earliest the tickets have sold out in the four years the game has been offered.
Two lucky ticket holders are guaranteed to win $1 million in the Jan. 1 drawing — ensuring that their new year will get off to an exciting start!
Lottery Executive Director Clint Harris reminds players to sign their Raffle tickets and put them in a safe place until the Jan.1 drawing.
The winning numbers for the cash prizes will be drawn first (starting with the $1 million prizes). After the final winning number is drawn for the $500 cash prizes, the winning numbers for the 40 bonus prizes will be drawn. Each Raffle ticket has the chance to win both a cash prize and the bonus prize printed on it.
The winning numbers for the $25,000 prizes will be televised on Jan. 1 on the ottery’s official drawing stations at 7:59 p.m.; the $100,000 prizes at 8:59 p.m.; and the $1 million prizes at 9:59 p.m. All winning Raffle numbers will be displayed on the Lottery’s Web site (mnlottery.com) by 10:10 p.m. on Jan. 1.
